WOVEN TOGETHER
tap'es-try : heavy cloth woven with rich, complex, varicolored designs
or scenes, usually hung on walls for decoration
Applied to us, "tapestry" signifies the variety and diversity we as
individuals bring to the group, our being woven together into a
beautiful musical whole through our love of singing, and our desire
to beautify and enrich our world by sharing great music.
Tapestry Chamber Singers has grown out of a vision for connecting
people who are impassioned by the sheer joy of singing and sharing
great music. Beginning with the first dream seeds in 2002, and
continuing in various ways until the present, God has blessed and provided opportunities that are exciting to us. The Nathan Good family, South Boston, Virginia, assembles the choir, and guest conductors bring musical leadership.
Although the members of the choir come from scattered locations all across the United States and beyond, and range in age from the teens to the sixties, we are united in our desire to offer a glimpse of "the beauty of the Lord our God" (Psalm 90:17) to all who hear our music.
"Let Your work be revealed to Your servants, and Your majesty to their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us; and establish the work of our hands." Psalm 90:16, 17

SING A NEW SONG
The mission of Tapestry Chamber Singers is to exalt the creator God and strengthen His people through the performance of beautiful choral music, with a focus on promoting new music from current Anabaptist composers.
